Mr. Herger, I am a voter and resident in Northern California. In our local newspaper it was presented that our president now feels he can sell to the highest bidder national forestland that is tax payer owned. I'm asking you as our representitive to do whatever is necessary to keep this precious land that every citizen has the right to enjoy and also pays for with every hard earned dollar. We want to stay proud of California because we protect our natural resources. We all enjoy a hike in the mountains, fishing, camping and the open space. I'm not a environmentalist trying to buy the land to keep from the public but I am trying to understand why some believe they have the right to take this public owned land to use for their own financial gain.
